Late Pennsylvanian Echinoid. This complete specimen of Archeocidaris dininnii (White) was collected W.D. "Ted" White from the Winterset Limestone member of the Dennis Formation at a quarry in Sparpy County, Nebraska. This is one of several thousand late Paleozoic echinoderms that was in the White Collection that has provided researchers with vast amounts of information and has been the subject of several theses and dissertations as well as professional papers.

Late Pennsylvanian Trilobite. Ameura missouriensis (Shumard) is one of three trilobite species found in the late Paleozoic strata of southeast Nebraska. This specimen was collected by W.D. "Ted" White from the Kiewitz Shale bed, Stoner Limestone member, Stanton Formation, from a quarry along the Platte River in Cass County. White's trilobites have provided data for a couple of theses and several professional papers.

Late Pennsylvanian Crinoid. This crown of Graffhamicrinus tetraspinosus Pabian & Strimple is probably the finest example of a late Pennsylvanian crinoid collected in Nebraska. It came from the Curzon Limestone Member of Topeka Formation that is exposed in a quarry along the Missouri River in Cass County.
