June 5th-9th

Nebraska has a rich fossil history from sea monsters to elephants in our backyard. We will lead young paleontologists on a journey through time, taking a look at some of the gigantic creatures that used to call Nebraska home. Campers will have opportunities to work with actual fossils as we use them to investigate these great beasts and what they can tell us about how they lived.

....Mini and Mighty

June 12th-16th
1st-2nd Grade

Look Out Below! Mini and Mighty will be exploring insects underfoot that often get over looked. Campers will be examining our crawly invertebrate friends and their importance to the world around them by interacting with live specimens, collecting samples and even creating their own mini exhibit.

....Time Trekkers

June 19th-23rd
4th-5th Grade

From ancient beaches, through the Ice Age, to the prairie, Nebraska’s habitats and climate have had a wild ride through the ages. Campers will explore many time periods to highlight just how much our state has changed. Using rocks and fossils you will discover different environments and creatures that once called Nebraska home to those who live here today.

....Jr. Scientist

All junior scientists welcome! Campers will learn to look at the world through the eyes of a scientist. The young researchers will participate in projects that explore concepts in different divisions of research.
